The EZ Kleen Trim-To-Size® Air Filter is manufactured using aluminum mesh. You can cut this filter to fit the size of your furnace filter, window air conditioner filter, range hood filter, and many other applications. Since these filter slots sizes can vary greatly, a Trim-To-Size® filter is sometimes best, especially if the opening for your filter is oddly-shaped. Additionally, you can add foam, carbon pads or fiberglass media to fabricate low-resistance replacement filters.
Cutting a Trim-To-Size® filter is easy. An ordinary scissor or utility knife can be used to cut the material; cutting along a ruler to ensure a straight edge is recommended.
Because EZ Kleen filters are depth filters, they have a low initial resistance and allow a very gradual resistance build-up of grease, increasing the service life of the filter.
Light weight, strong aluminum grease filters for range hoods and commercial exhaust fans are available in a variety of sizes. Grease filters for commercial kitchen applications are available as mesh filters and baffle filters. All commercial EZ Kleen and Kleen-Gard Grease Filters trap up to 98% of grease and foreign matter.
The use of aluminum prevents rust and corrosion, yet allows easy washing. Because they are washable air filters, the possibility of a decrease in performance level of equipment is significantly reduced.
